  1. Hi? ...um... You look familiar, have we met before?

Weren’t you the dude who I saw lying on the school floor?

Naw it can’t be, it’s something about you I see

I have a jacket like that, a belt, a book bag and cap

Why do things seem strange to me, oh a trap, a trap to get me

What am I doing, is that really me?

My face, my eyes, I now clearly see

Why you man, why me, why is there a price required to be free

Closer to me I go, as the warmth of my blood starts to flow

Did I get shot, jumped or robbed?

I can not see and from head to toe my body throbs

Its dark and I’m cold, the beatings grow as the pain gets old

What a needless price to pay, just to be me to be ok

A sudden touch to my arm, who dare rescue me?

Rushing towards me unfolds a voice that calms me

“Hey are you ok?” he says to me

“I am the one in class 3; you sit one row ahead and to the left of me

“Be still now friend, you’ll be ok in a jiff, you will see

“Because of the stand you took

“To be who you are, I sadly forsook”

Now, to see the price to be free, I now gladly accept my dare to be Me
