Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I was told
It doesn’t matter if you are an angel, a caterpillar, a bat, or a toad
I was told, it’s the beauty of the heart that brings out the truth inside of one’s self
Yet the thoughts of the world’s best remain useless on our shelves
I was told, silence is golden
Who spoke up for the lives of the different, stolen?
I was told all men were created equal
Why does the world make the beautiful rainbow seem evil?
I was told, “Give me liberty or give me death”
Many, different then the rest, unwillfully gave up their last breath
Silence is truly golden when it drowns out judging because one views beauty differently;
furthermore, if all are truly created equally then why does death supersede liberty?
