I’m reaching out my hand, who is there?
My heart probes the area near, but who is there?
The blood runs cold through my veins, who will warm it?
Loneliness like in a vortex daze’s my view, but who will lead me?
I look during the day and feel through the night, but who really cares?
I search for a touch, a hug of love, but who will receive me?
Is there anyone out there for me, who will ever want me?
A touch, a need, a look and a sound from a loving soul, so why can’t I find it?
Rivers run far and deep and yet it can’t fill this heart
Who is out there, who will want me, who will hold me in the night?
With arms wide open and a heart shining like the sun
I cover you with love, joy and peace, no matter where you will be
Rushing river, strong and free. Carry me away, so with you I’ll for ever be
An arm to touch all in need, a heart with love enough for you and me
I urge you to love some in need today, it doesn’t matter were you’re from or if you know what to say
Show love and let it shine a touch of love for those left blind to see all the love out there for you and me.
