1. Through bright sunlit days from dark starlit nights,
2. Come icy wind-swept, snow-bounded summits,
3. Deserted of the gusts of heated plains,
4. Competing with volcanic clouds and fires,
5. By the swirling pools of wet wind-stirred skies,
6. As earthquakes confounding the tempest’s rage,
7. With meaningless vales of desolation,
8. Destined to yet be calmed rivers flowing,
9. As gentle lulls form, revealing, waiting,
10. The aurora, with rainbow’s bend, in clouds,
11. Like Heaven grounded mists, beckoning gods,
12. To walk upon the Earth, where I but wait,
13. My ordinary hero to appear,
14. With his love, and for my need to love him.
