This poem was written right after I had talked to a friend and convinced myself to ask a guy out. I hope it shows the hardships of asking someone out, and putting yourself out there.
Bravery is a wonderful word,
When used to fight for something right,
To do something
Even when you are scared
To dig deep, and fight hard.
Will I ever have the bravery
To tell you how I feel?
Will I ever fight hard,
For the boy that I love?
Will I become too scared
And back out of the plan?
Will I think of triumph,
Only to be turned down and exposed?
Will I find the courage
Deep inside me?
Will I finally break out,
And voice my feelings?
Will I confide in you,
And find love at last?
Will you be my friend,
Even if I’m wrong?
Will I?
Will You?
Will We?
