Fantasy is a field of writing that is constantly expanding and one that is always influenced by the work of others in the field. I would be remiss in not acknowledging the influence and contributions of the many great writers whose influence has contributed to this story. I am obliged to extend thanks to the original inspiration for Chronicles. Many parts of the world; its guild rank system, and its gods, are taken, with permission, from the works of Kyle Aarons. Further, as an avid reader, I cannot help but draw inferences, ideas, and concepts from great authors like J.R.R. Tolkein, David Eddings, Ursula LeGuin, Raymond Feist, Janny Wurts, R.A. Salvatore, Katherine Kurtz, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan, and others too numerous to mention.
I would also be remiss in not saying “Thank You” to Graeme, Codey, Ben, Brian, and Dave, for their support, encouragement, and solid suggestions that have improved this story immeasurably.
While this work may not be up to the standard set by the giants in the field, I hope it, and the world it plays out on may, in some small way, add to the body of material known as Fantasy.
