I keep your photograph
Lodged deep in the folds of me
To be at my every calling
When I need a light to see.
When I see your face,
I can breathe see and feel
Lost shadows run away
And the layers begin to peel.
When you are there
I know that I am free
And I can share with you
All the sides of me.
