As starlight twinkles high above,
I wonder where it has gone.
I imagine light unfurling,
a dark corner's first bright dawn.
I see the resolution,
as it burns its path in space;
it may burn out eventually,
but it will go out with grace.
The twinkle seems to smile,
while I dream of this little plan,
I smile back and feel content,
to make the most of what I can.
